Hey, I’m Soph!
I'm the woman behind Sophie Walker Weddings; the founder, the planner and the stylist with a passion for detailed, modern weddings.
I live in Cornwall, just outside of Falmouth with my boyfriend and our two cats, Nala & Nelson, in an old fire station. I take my coffee as strong as my opinions on un-ironed table cloths. When autumn comes around, Gilmore Girls is on the TV. I'm a chronic country hopper with an obsession for travel photography taken on film, who has found someone who loves to explore as much as me.
Isn't it so hard to know what to do when you're growing up?
I have always wanted a job that would take me all over the world, a job where I can be creative, use my second language (French!) that I'm so very luck to be able to speak and a job where I can help someone create the most perfect day (or few days) and that is where my business grew from. I get to travel, let my imagination run wild, but most of all I am here to be your friend when you need it the most. And you know what, I think I have found exactly what I want to do when I grow up!

My favourite colour
I love the colour orange. It reminds me of sunrises, sunsets, roaring fires, dahlias and poppies… All those heart warming things.
Bucket list destinations
India, I’ve always wanted to go, it just seems so chaotic. Dom and I are also looking at saving all our pennies to go to Japan!
Languages I speak
Obviously English, but I’m also fluent in French and learnt bits and pieces of Spanish at school, but would love to pick it back up again!
My favourite food
Cheese, all things cheese!
What will bankrupt me
Other than travel, designer handbags and shoes… I have a slight obsession!
Drink of choice
Always coffee, in any form, but preferably an oat milk flat white or an espresso martini. Or, are we sitting in the sun? Then an Aperol spritz!
